DORIS Engineering is looking for a Lead Instrumentation engineer who should act as engineer on Oil & Gas and potentially on Offshore renewable projects.
Your range of activity will cover all markets addressed by DORIS: Oil & Gas and Marine Renewable Energies, offshore and onshore engineering. Your scope of responsibilities will encompass engineering projects and discipline development.
Engineering projects
You will be involved in a large range of projects from conceptual phases to construction phases with a wide variety of activities, including but not limited to: – Instrumentation design of offshore topsides, onshore plant, subsea facilities (specification, schematics, data sheet, calculation note, technical room definition, instrumentation database….) – Preparation and supervision of site survey, onshore and offshore. – Vendor technical follow-up including Request For Quotation preparation, technical clarification, and Vendor data review.
You will be responsible (quality/planning/budget) for the instrumentation studies performed in-house or the follow-up of
subcontracted studies with direct communication with our clients/contractors.
You will liaise and cooperate with other DORIS technical disciplines (process, mechanical, electrical, 3D model, safety…) as part of your assignment on project.
Discipline development
As instrumentation engineer and under the supervision of the lead instrumentation engineer, you will participate in maintaining DORIS experience and adapt methodologies and know-how to the evolution of state of the art and to the market needs. This includes involvement in R&D activities through internal studies, development of engineering tools.
Qualifications & Requirements:
– M.Sc or equivalent with specialization in instrumentation, – Internship experience in offshore Oil& Gas instrumentation engineering, – Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and of process control and safety systems – Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes of practice, international standards – Experience of instrumentation databases software (SPI, S4I, Aveva Instrumentation) would be a plus, – Fluent English – Good written (including report writing) and verbal communication, – Mobility required in particular for collaboration with foreign DORIS subsidiaries and participation to surveys in France and abroad offshore and onshore |
